Ms. Bernie Day is an innovative, progressive leader with over 20 years of high level management experience in the marketing industry that includes software development of industry tools. Her proven skills in researching, analyzing, writing, leadership and product development are utilized to create and/or improve the profits and efficiency of a company. Recent experience is as CEO of a new media production and distribution Company that built Web 2.0 software for automation of the post-production process. Additionally, her extensive experience in creating/designing and directing (and often leading) seminars and workshops has surrounded topics that include ad production for Web, and mobile solutions. Finally, she has designed and executed end-to-end go-to-market strategies with focus on digital media.

President & CEO
EZ Show, Inc. 2004-2008

As President of EZ Show, Inc., Ms. Day assembled a team that developed and deployed an online video ad software solution in a Web 2.0 format that allowed users to create and publish an online video ad in minutes. She also created and executed the go-to-market strategy for this product, capturing market prominence in the Local Search and IYP (Internet Yellow Page) sectors. She was deeply involved in the writing of the business and functional requirements for the software and the leading of the team to develop it. Finally, during her stint at EZ Show, she raised capital from Angel Investors, which included the writing of a business plan, and continual pitching of the product to encourage investment.
 Managed up to 20 employees.
 Served on the Board of Directors.
 Led business development landing key accounts valued at $10M.
 Raised $2 million in investment capital.

Vice President, Marketing
Leszynski Group, Inc. 2003-2004

Bernie Day was hired as the VP of Marketing with the goal to develop a go-to-market strategy for Tablet PC software development. Since the product was so new to the market she felt the best strategy would be approach it from an instructive perspective and thus developed a training product around the Tablet PC. She funded the project by creating workshops that were sponsored by companies like Gateway, Intel and Microsoft. She personally pitched and closed on the sponsorships, hired a team to manage seat reservations, book hotels and catering, and then a team also to deliver the message she designed.
 Designed and directed software development of Tablet PC onsite registration software.
 Created a successful marketing engine: Corporate-sponsored events across the country that provided a free hands-on experience for attendees moving them to quickly adopt mobile technology and driving sales of software development to the company.
 Drove company to new levels of business that it had never experienced before.

Executive Director, Ombudsman
Media Research Center of Alaska 2002

Ms. Day was hired as the voice against media bias in Alaska, policing TV, radio and newspapers outlets. When she found media bias she contacted the parties involved and attempted to get equal time and space for the “other side.” She also wrote articles and appeared on TV.
 Wrote over 75 grants that successfully provided funds for the Center.
 Built and motivated the Board of Directors.
 Successfully challenged local media about bias.
 Created PR campaign and got heard.

Chief Executive Officer, President
SeminarMaster, Inc. 1999 -2002

While at SeminarMaster Ms. Day designed, developed and acquired funding for an Internet business that sold seminar seats where individuals and companies could find, evaluate, and register for seminars being held throughout the country. The business model was very much like Ticketmaster where event seats are sold for a percentage of the sale.
 Defined requirements and built software for automating seminar seat sales.
 Wrote go-to-market strategy for Company as well as business plan.

President, CEO
Empathology, Inc. 1990 – 1999

Bernie Day established the healthcare practitioner practice of empathology that assisted clients, through counseling, to achieve a higher level of performance by removing limiting beliefs. Her target market was healthcare practitioners/counselors who she taught the process in an extended seminar format.
 Performed event management activities.
 Managed all marketing activities company-wide.
 Founded state-licensed vocational school.
 Formed non-profit research organization to study the effectiveness of empathology.
